Cookie Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

SkyExtras.com uses cookies and similar technologies to operate WooCommerce, keep checkout secure, remember preferences, and—where permitted—measure website traffic and advertising. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Some last only for a browsing session; others remain for a defined period. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and measurement identifiers.

2. Types of technology we may use

Strictly necessary: WooCommerce cart/session functions, checkout and payment security, login, anti-abuse protection and remembering your privacy preferences. These support services you request and generally cannot be switched off without affecting core functionality.

Preferences: remembering optional display preferences where enabled.

Analytics: Google Analytics 4 or other configured tools that measure how pages and checkout flows are used, where consent is required and given.

Advertising/measurement: Google Ads conversion measurement, Google Tag Manager-related tags and campaign attribution identifiers, where consent is required and given. Google Tag Manager is a tag-management tool; the specific tags it loads determine which cookies or identifiers are involved.

External support services: optional WhatsApp links or chat widgets can involve third-party processing when you open or interact with them; embedded widgets must be assessed in our consent configuration.

3. Example cookies to verify in production

This is a provisional implementation guide, not a confirmed live cookie inventory. Exact names, providers, purposes and lifetimes must be checked with a consent-management platform scan after the final WordPress installation and Google Ads configuration are activated.

4. Your choices

Where consent is required, our consent banner should offer meaningful Accept, Reject, and Manage preferences options. Non-essential cookies/tags should not be activated before a valid choice where the law requires prior consent. Consent may be changed or withdrawn at any time using the visible Cookie settings / Manage consent control available on the website.

You may also remove cookies through browser settings. Blocking essential cookies can prevent your cart, checkout or login from functioning correctly.

5. Google Consent Mode

If we run Google Ads or Analytics, our consent-management tool may send Consent Mode v2 signals, including ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization as applicable. Consent Mode is a technical signaling mechanism, not a substitute for obtaining consent or complying with advertising and privacy rules. Actual tag activation behavior should be tested after deployment.

6. Third-party providers

Third-party cookies and tracking technologies are subject to those providers’ privacy notices. Their involvement depends on the final configuration of the production website. Please refer to the active cookie settings panel for the authoritative list of vendors, purposes and retention durations.

7. Updates and contact

We update this policy when our technology stack changes. Contact info@skyextras.com with questions. Website: SkyExtras.com.
